The My-Fence design is based on an oil resistant rubber belt on which bright orange colored floats are bolted. These materials will withstand the effects of the sun, ea, and oil and as trash boom absorb the impact of even big size timber floating in the river. The My-Fence boom is best suited for protected and inland waters, but with the large floats ( 14 liter each) it will also work in coastal areas with moderate wave action. The boom is as standard equipped with ASTM quick connectors, but other connectors are available on request. The Boom is delivered without the floats mounted on the belt in order to reduce he shipping volume. The floats are mounted during deployment. For handling during deployment the My-Fence boom is equipped with handles ( rope) on every set of floats. He boom may be supplied with ballast weights of another material than lead, such as st. steel.
